London Bridge Regenerative Clinic
Welcome to London Bridge Regenerative Clinic
5-Star Rated Clinic in Central London
Our mission is to leverage our years of experience to effectively diagnose and treat back pain at our specialist clinic, led by Dr. Azzini, a fully qualified sports medicine doctor.
We combine state-of-the-art technology with advanced injection therapies to heal back pain. Our unique protocol is designed not only to treat specific back issues but also to provide a comprehensive approach by integrating other treatment modalities such as laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and spinal decompression.
At London Bridge Regenerative Clinic, we address a wide range of conditions, including sciatica, slipped discs, spinal stenosis, facet syndrome, and degenerative disc disease.
How does shockwave therapy work
Shockwave therapy, known for its ‘mechanism of action’, involves the use of a specialized device to deliver acoustic energy through the skin to the injured part of the body. The shockwaves, which are mechanical and not electric, consist of audible, low-energy sound waves that increase blood flow to the injured area.
This therapy operates through two primary modes of action to alleviate persistent tendon pain. Firstly, the shockwaves work to desensitize nerve endings, often resulting in an immediate reduction in pain. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, the shockwaves induce controlled micro-trauma (microscopic damage) to the tissues. This action encourages the body to respond by enhancing blood circulation and metabolism in the affected area, thereby activating and accelerating the body’s natural healing response. Additionally, shockwaves can assist in ‘breaking down’ disorganised tissue and calcifications. For treatment to be optimal we would normally recommend combining this treatment with injection therapy and a rehabilitation programme.
What are the common characteristics of this elbow tendonitis? Typically, individuals experience discomfort on the outer side of the elbow. Pain is often felt during activities such as lifting objects with the arm, grasping items like a cup, or rotating the forearm while manipulating a door handle. The intensity of the pain typically ranges from mild irritation to severe discomfort, sometimes hindering participation in sports activities.
Obtaining imaging to confirm the presence of lateral epicondylitis and to eliminate other potential causes, particularly in complex cases, is crucial. Ultrasound imaging is employed to observe typical tendon alterations such as thickening and increased blood flow. Additionally, it allows visualization of the elbow joint and nerves surrounding the outer elbow area to ensure that the pain is not originating from these alternate sources.
Assuming there are no contraindications, the practitioner will proceed to inject the steroid directly into the inflamed area, such as a joint or the surrounding soft tissue identified during the diagnosis. Most patients find these injections to be comfortable and well tolerated.
Depending on your medical history and examination, we may need to postpone the injection if certain conditions are present, such as unstable blood pressure or fluctuating blood sugar levels due to diabetes. In such cases, specific written consent from your GP may be required before proceeding with the injection.
Are there any side effects associated with Ostenil Plus?
What Are the Advantages of Ostenil for Sports Enthusiasts and Athletes?
Ostenil injections have become increasingly popular among athletes, particularly football players, who seek relief from joint discomfort resulting from intense physical exertion.
Featuring hyaluronic acid as its primary ingredient, these injections offer enhanced joint lubrication and cushioning, thereby reducing friction, easing pain, and improving mobility to enhance performance on the field.
The non-invasive nature and minimal side effects of Ostenil make it an appealing option for athletes aiming to preserve joint health and quickly return to their training and competitive activities.
Implementing injury prevention measures such as warm-up routines, conditioning exercises, and recovery strategies further bolster joint health and overall athletic prowess.
How is Ostenil produced
Ostenil is commonly manufactured through a method referred to as bacterial fermentation.
In this process, specific bacterial strains, typically Streptococcus zooepidemicus, are chosen for their capacity to generate hyaluronic acid. These bacteria are cultivated in a suitable growth medium that contains carbohydrates like glucose or corn syrup, serving as a carbon source. Through fermentation, the bacteria produce hyaluronic acid as a byproduct of their metabolic processes.
The resulting sodium hyaluronate can then be utilized in orthopedic applications, such as treating conditions like Osteoarthritis, Knee Meniscus issues, as well as Shoulder or Hip Labral tears.

Benefits of chiropractic Treatment
Pain Relief
Chiropractors specialise in treating conditions like back pain, neck pain, and joint discomfort. Through spinal adjustments and other manual therapies, they can help alleviate pain caused by misalignment, muscle tension, or injuries. Many people experience immediate relief after chiropractic sessions.
Enhanced Mobility and Flexibility
Chiropractic adjustments can increase joint mobility, improving range of motion and flexibility. This is particularly beneficial for athletes, older adults, and anyone recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic stiffness
Improved Posture
Regular chiropractic care can correct postural issues, especially those caused by long hours of sitting or poor ergonomics. This can reduce strain on the spine, prevent future problems, and improve your overall posture, helping to align the body more naturally.
Enhanced Mobility and Flexibility
Many patients experience long-lasting benefits from Ostenil injections, reducing the need for frequent interventions. Some may even enjoy relief for up to a year, making it a cost-effective option over time.
Few Side Effects Ostenil injections are well-tolerated, with minimal side effects such as temporary swelling or discomfort at the injection site. Severe allergic reactions are rare, allowing patients to resume normal activities quickly.
